does anybody know what hte best tire for performance on a 96 gs

You want the balls out, sticky racing slicks, right? If so, spend the dough, as if money was no object, and buy a set of Michelins. Any Michelins. Knobbies even. You'd be the baddest, if you can swing a corner at 100mph on a set of Michelin knobbies. The Michelin Pilot Race H-2 front in the 110/70-17 size and the Michelin Macadam 50 rear in either 130/70 or 140/80-17. Also, since I'm the only one having fun on this thread, the Metzeler 110/70-17 Rennsport front in RS1 compound and ME Z1 HR 140/70 rear would do.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.
