I am having trouble adjusting the clutch on my gs500. The cable is way to tight and the span is way too far for my girlfriend to rwch the levers and engage the clutch correctly. On my old gs500 is was very easy but this one has no play in the cable.

I just realized that the threads that are going into the handle are broken and it is preventing me from adjusting the clutch, how do i get the part of the threads that are stuck in the lever out?

scratch

You will need to remove the handle.  Two 10mm wrenches are required, or a wrench and a socket and driver, to remove the pivot bolt.  You should be able to get out the barrel end of the cable out of the bottom of the lever.
