imagination or my front brake handle is binding ?

Went for a 100 Miles "dink around town ride because I was bored on sunday", and unless I dont understand the front brake handle system, the only thing I can "explain it" is it feels like its binding if it was a cable.. ie the handle is hard to squeeze (it does brake normally so far) is this possible ? what could be the cause ?

Any ideas would be appreciated .

Just if your wondering I have not had a brake job done on this bike in 2 months. I have just had the tires changed though, (they need to bleed brakes for that ???) and it was fine before...

Probably some trapped air in the brake hose. I understood that the lever feels firm if so , bleed'em!
You know, squeeze the brake lever couple of times on the last time hold it in, fit 8mm spanner on the bleed screw, open screw a bit to let
fluid drip out until you feel lever coming closer to bars(don't let it come fully) close the screw, repeat, until the lever feels good
all the while make sure to top the reservoir with fresh fluid if too much is drained

Edit: Don't let the fluid touch anything , if possible attach some kind of clear hose to the bleed valve to channel the fluid away or place a rag around the
bleed valve to absorb the fluid
