how much are factory chin spoiler and windscreen worth???

I have a factory with all mounting hardware chin spoiler and windshield on my bike now.  What are they worth complete with hardware individually???  I've been contemplating selling them as the windscreen does virtually nothing for me on the highway unless I literally lay down on the tank altogether.  I would sell the chin spoiler too but it looks really good on the bike.  I'm thinking of trying to get rid of them in a pair if its worth enough to somebody though.

Post a picture if you can. I have a Targa upper and lower faring on my 89GS.I may trade,but a factory upper and lower is worth about $50. Here's a pic of mine.

I think you could get more than $50 easily (Assuming the right person wanted them).  The OEM 1/4 fairing and chin haven't been made since ~2001...  And they weren't that common to begin with...  So, they're kinda hard to find.  I can't recall how much I paid for my 1/4 fairing...  But, it was pretty screwed up when I got it.

I am sure you could find someone goofy enough for dish out $200 for the set w/ hardware - EASY.  THe Hardware alone is $25 PER CLIP (4 per chin) for the chin spoiler at online aftermarket shops - RIDICULOUS!  Mine is now held on with that glavanized, perforated muffler repair stripping and Home Depot hardware.

the windscreens don't serve much more than a cosmetic purpose -- but they do clean up the front end nice

I paid something around $60 shipped for the chin spoiler I have. Only 1 mount and needs some repair.

I have not seen any uppers on ebay in a while but they would sell in the $60-100 range, depending on condition and the time of year.

right on, thats good to know that they're worth a small chunk, I don't know what to do because as I said the windshield is worthless on the highway for what its worth.  It just seems to collect a bunch of water and spray it right about your crotch.  The chin spoiler just looks cool though and may provide some cooling I guess, but I doubt it.

I will eventually pull a mold off the one I have. That is the easy part.
Making brackets that are both estheticly pleasing and functionally easy to install is the harder part. I would not sell them with some strapping or hose clamps.
When I mount mine, I will probably make tabs and either weld or rivet them to the frame. I was just looking at that the other day.

I LOVE the look the chin spoilers give the bikes , as well as belly pans . I'd imagine whoever makes a mold of one (spoiler that is) would probably sell a ton of them on this site alone

I'll donate my chin fairing for copy if I can get a new one in return     Mine has a couple of stress cracks, and the right side had had some repair work and isn't completely straight (needs a little filler and sanding, but it could be corrected in the mold).  Let me know.

You know,I never thought about producing clones or copies.I wonder if Targa would sue me for copying my fairings and chin spoiler and selling them?I could set up molds this weekend.Dunno what I'd do bout the wind screen.Maybe some 1/8 inch acrylic glass?Plexi wouldn't last long,it'd cloud up.

I have the 1/4 fairing, but honestly, it's not the coolest looking 1/4 fairing you can get for the GS.

Ive seen them very often on the british Ebay , i think someone makes them , but they claim the RRP of them are 280 Pounds , So 500 Bucks
