Would rather see harsher punishments.  None of this death row or multiple life sentences crap.  And you only get one Appeal thats it.

Punishment should = Crime commited.  You killed someone, then you should die.  You rape someone then you should have your privates removed, or die.  Child molesters should die.  Caught stealing have your hand cut off.  And being mental is not a defense it's a reason why you should be executed.

For the most part you commit a crime and all you get is a slap on the wrist.  If harsher punishments were delt out people would really think twice before comming a crime.

It would solve alot of problems with the over crowding of jails and prisions, not to mention cutting cost of jail / prision opperations.

Oh yeah if your a celeb, you should be treated the same way as everyone else.

To bad this would never happen as America has gotten to soft, and for the most part America is turning into a country full of pansies.

If Illegal aliens will do the jobs americans wont do (Never the real problem ... real problem is the $$$) then wont handing then legality negate that. Make them legal, there will then be a loooooong list of jobs they wont do.
BTW ... mexico has the most zenophobic immigration and labor policies in the world.
We need to adopt a reciprocal policy. If you're fron china, we'll use the chinnese immigration manual ... if india, use the indian, if mexico, use that.
Cool.

Illegal things I'd like to see prosecuted:

1) Ordering Torture for Prisoners
2) Spying on Americans without a warrant
3) Blowing the cover of covert CIA agents
4) Signing statements
5) Washing voter registration lists of minority voters
6) Hiring/Firing based on political reasons

Think it will happen?

It pisses me off when people turn either right or left and instead of turning into the near lane (right lane for a right turn) they swing wide and turn into the far lane.  Changing lanes within 150 of an intersection pisses me off.  Also I get f%$king FURIOUS when I see someone talking on their cell phone.  Don't know why.

Recurring driver testing should be manditory in all 50 states every 4 years.  :2guns:

At least a written test when you go to get re-photoed  :thumb:

+1 to everything Jake said.  I have anger issues, also :icon_twisted:

Turn signals.

Jay walking, but only when it's stupid. I work at a university, everybody jaywalks. Ok fine. But man if you do it and you're 50' from a light and crosswalk, I have to fight the urge to run you over. Get your lazy ass over to the crosswalk.

How about right of way? I really hate people that give up their right of way to let you turn or something. Then they sit there waiting for me to go, but I'm not because they have the right of way. The whole reason we have that stupid concept is so you know when it's your turn to go, but if those idiots think being 'nice' by randomly deciding the rules have changed is going to help...

Absolute least favorite thing... I'm at a sidestreet, waiting to turn left onto the main road. Been sitting there a minute. Car comes on the opposite side of the road, turning right. Gap in traffic. Idiot sits there waiting for me to turn, somehow having missed the whole concept of right of way in driver's ed and deciding that since I was there first it's my turn to go. WRONG. Right turner always has the right of way! Look it up.

I may have anger issues too...

right of way isn't mandate.  anyone may voluntarily give up their right of way for any reason...even being nice.  right of way is only enforced by any variety of law for emergency vehicles on emergency business or if it's noted by a "yield" sign or otherwise posted.  Things like 4-way stops aren't regulated, so long as everyone stops.

It's not uncommon for me to sit at a 4-way stop, even I was the first person there, in order to change a CD or grab a beer from the cooler.  I'm always sure to signal other people waiting, though.

I've noticed a menomena lately in the area near my office.

When I come to a 4 way stop (of which their are many), I see some dumb shaZam! sitting there waiting at the stop sign.  And they won't pull away until another vehicle is also waiting at the intersection.  This may be hard to picture, but read that last sentence literally.  I have seen them waiting there, watching me approach my stop sign.  And then when I get there and have fully stopped, they pull away.  Someone please explain this to me.

Yeah yeah, but see, it's good to have everyone on the road knowing what to expect. Follow the same rules about who gets to go, etc etc.

I can't explain it, but it pisses me off when someone waves me on even though they have the right of way... Sure, they're just being nice, still pisses me off though.

They want to make ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY SURE that you will stop.  That or they're processing with a 286 in a Pentium 4 world.

I never pull out in front of someone who has their signal on to turn onto the street where I am  :thumb: They may have just forgot their signal was on and slam into you when you pull out.

Stop sign is the same deal. You should never trust/assume that the other guy is going to stop  :thumb:

ok I think people who try and nab a <5mph rabbit, people who can't let their rabbit actually get a lead (forcing them to cruise in the fast lane like an asshat) before pacing them, and people who decide to speed up a couple mph when you pass them, should get idiot tickets.
