How in the world do you ride for any given amount of time without your "personal area" (for lack of a more ladylike term) getting sore, squished, etc....I'm a female and even when I ride for any length of time I find myself having to move around alot on the seat in order to keep from putting too much pressure on one area.  (I'm trying to be very lady like and proper asking this)

First, your legs are spread from sitting over a saddle, so your dangly bits can just rest there. I'm on a crotch rocket so I lean forward a bit, but even that doesn't bother me in the slightest. My friends harley vibrates a whole bunch, but because you sit upright it doesn't really hit you in the pills enough to notice.

Same as with a bike, chair, anything else? Your weight rests on your butt, not your crotch, same as with women I would assume.

heatherg11

I never noticed it until I put clubman bars on my bike....it makes me lean over alot more, so I guess I wouldn't survive on a "real" crotch rocket.

Hmmmmmm

My wife enjoys the seating on her F4i, says it feels nice when she is really flogging the motor in the 10 to 14k range. :dunno_white:

As for me I wear boxer briefs when running around town, when I wear my leathers i wear under armor underwear. Underwear keeps my boys firmly contained so I don't sit back down and smash em.
Why didn't you just go the whole way and buy me a f@#king Kawasaki you bastards.

I just wear tight fitting boxer briefs, try to keep my weight on my butt, and stay off the tank.Hard to stay off tank when you are short and have a limited reach.I didn't think women had that problem.Learn something new every day.
PICS are GONE never TO return.

Crucialval

I constantly have to stand up and readjust it's not the most fun. Maybe I'll try the under armor. It my be becuase of the pants I ride in, the zipper bonches up. It's the worst part about riding for me!

frye

yea my mechanic called my gs the milwakee vibrater last time he rode it.
i hit a speed bump once going to fast and it did a pretty good amount of damage down there
i actually had to pull over and lay down for a couple of minutes

I'm on the short side of 5'6" so, reach is a problem for me especially with the clubman bars....it's not terribly uncomfortable, but I don't see how you guys do it.

@ 5'10" the way my bke is set up with vortex clip ons  I am constantly leaned over to keep from stiff arming when I ride, you just need to relax and find what works for you. The sport bars mean the end of comfortable upright riding. The most straight line time I spend on my bike is 30 or so miles, once I am into the twisties I move around so much on the bike it no longer matters. If it's a daily commuter or a long haul bike you might consider returning to stock bars.
Why didn't you just go the whole way and buy me a f@#king Kawasaki you bastards.

dgyver

I never have a problem since I learned to stay away from the tank.
The only time it may be of concern is when I am hard on the brakes or I am riding 2-up...one reason I do not ride 2-up.
Common sense in not very common.

NiceGuysFinishLast

I'm on the short side of 5'3 and have clipons... Still no issues. If I know I'm going to be riding all day, like in the mountains, I'll wear tight fitting boxer briefs. If I'm just going to work, I'll wear boxers. Once you're sat down, it's not an issue for me.. however, I do have to be careful not to sit on.. ermm.... myself

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

RVertigo

They only get crushed if I quick-stop with a passenger...  Other than they, they just kinda sit on the seat...

I had a "Seat Slapper" on the Meany though...  More upright sit... Pothole...  Launch... LAND!  Ouch!
