Well, sorta.  I just got home with my GSF600S aka 2000 Bandit 600S its not exactly a GS but along the same blood line. The seating and handlebar position resemble that of the GS which I like. 78 horsepower which is very realworld, more like peak GS power from idle to red line (no down shifting needed). The fairing is quite nice, it keeps the wind off very well. The GSf guys are onto something. It is more hefty then the GS but not all that noticeable. Not a bad deal either 3800 miles for $2500. All in all a nice upgrade from GS.

Not the best pics but you get the idea.

Banditos are still cool...  Ugly as a motherfucker, but still cool...  As long as it rides well and it's fun, who cares about looks.   :icon_razz:

Actually, people with GS's work on their bikes more than any group of bike owners I know.

Nice Bandit!!  That is a sweet ride.  The 1250 Bandit caught my eye.  But I think I'd rather have a FZ1 or a Z1000.

Oh, BTW, nice boat.  Gilligan.

My neighbor has one of those in blue (same bike, possibly different year).  Don't know whose it is, but it's just sitting and rotting.  It makes the baby GS (or is that Jesus) cry.
