I have been surfing the net, watching youtube and I am just wondering how in the world these guys do the stunts they do on these bikes??? I have NEVER tried stunting, never will, but D@mn some of them are awesome....And most of the time, they make it look so easy...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1K9Qtb_Sh4&NR=1

this is just one of many videos of some guys stunting.....and these guys aren't even as good as some.  Would you not get in trouble if a cop saw you doing this on the main road???  What would make anyone ever try that for the first time, even to see if you could do it??

and half of them dont' even wear helmets!!! what are they thinking??? Why would you do that, that's asking to die. stupid in my opinion...but it's just mine

I get nervous when I hit 80 on my bike and that's just casually riding on the interstate when the speed limit is 70 mph. I can't imagine doing 130 or 140....anyone know someone personally that does this stuff?  I would love to go to the street bike freestyle competitions, but I have no desire to have someone blow past me going that fast riding a wheelie.

Welcome to the world of squids.

They endanger everyone around them, even though their argument is different.

it's CRAZY. do they not have families, girlfriends/boyfriends??? what are they thinking.  I know it has to be a rush, but is it worth it???  there are dozens of stunting/crash video's out there.. running from the cops, everything. I guess I never really realized how crazy some people are.  Did you see what they do to their tanks???? The top is flat so they have a flat surface to stand on...

Ever see what happens when a skydiver's parachute doesn't open properly?  What about when a tree gets in the way of a snowboarder?  When a race car driver's car hits a wall?  A skateboarder when he loses his board while trying to pull off a wicked 30ft frontside switchfoot air into a a half truckhook impossible caught in a 50-50?  they all end the same..."splat".

Stunting doesn't necessarily endanger other people's lives but like all extreme sports, it endangers their own lives always.

The guys are so good at it because they've spent thousands and thousands of hours working on their stunts.  The best stunters will be lucky to have like 4~5 good stunts (a rolling standup in the triples isn't a good stunt...i could do that and I have no stunting skill).  The guys who get sponsored and shaZam! to do this kind of thing spend their entire days trying to conjure up new stuff...like have three full time jobs.

The tops of the tanks are pounded in for doing high chairs.
Why didn't you just go the whole way and buy me a f@#king Kawasaki you bastards.

all there doing is wheelies ................. whats fun is skiing beside your bike .... not that i have ever done it  :icon_rolleyes: ...... while there where cars around at least ...
*edit* ok ..well they started to ski there at the end ............ its not hard .

makenzie71

haha I remember doing a bit of skiing once...front of my FZ washed out from under me and I skied along with one foot on the ground and one on the side of the bike.  Kept going until i hit grass...got it just right that the bike snapped back up and i ended up sitting on her on the side of the road like nothing happened.  had a badass peanut butter sammich just after that.

The people in that video don't look very impressive compared to some good stunting videos that I've seen. It's pretty retarded to be pulling that kind of stuff on a main road, but I would love to learn how to stunt if I had a huge empty lot and a bike to wreck. If done right, I imagine it's no more dangerous that canyon riding or the track. You start out slow with the small stuff and work your way up. It's a different kind of control over the bike, and it's pretty impressive what some of the good stunters can do.
There are only 10 types of people in this world - those who understand binary and those who don't

heatherg11

I agree that this video isn't the most impressive.....there are tons of them on youtube. I'm just saying how/why do that? I would love to do it also, but you could very easily get killed (I know you could just riding the bike too) but stunting on a main road makes you more volnerable. I was talking about this to some of my friends and they said" if I saw someone doing that stupid stuff or going inbetween cars I would open my door/swerve a little just to show them what's up"  Its crazy.

Make sure you tell your friends that if they actually do that, regardless of the motorcycle being reckless, it's attempted vehicular manslaughter and it will ruin their life even with the most lenient of penalty.  Permanant revocation of driving privileges.  Or maybe they would prefer the maximum ( at least here in ga) of 16 years imprisonment.
Just ranting because, from the video from a convenience store of my wreck it's pretty clear the guy intended to hit me, unfortunately the tag was not visible.  If I find him I'm gonna cut his legs off and let him watch while gators eat them.  Then his jewels, the his arms :icon_twisted:  He'll be praying for prison :2guns:

heatherg11

i really dont think they would, but i'm sure it has happened.  stupid people do stupid things.

people in south ga are ignorant douchebags...........  about a quarter mile before we got into town I buzzed by him......I guess he decided he wanted to teach me a lesson for speeding.......I have a pretty good idea where he lives, based off a very detailed vehicle description minus a tag :icon_confused: .......pretty sure me and a few fellow grunts are gonna return the favor

If you gotta few grunts, sneak up and roll his car over in the middle of the night,on a work night. Don't ask.I just know it's been done, but not to me.  :icon_lol:

I was originally thinking more along the lines of tying him to a tree in a swamp and cutting his legs a couple of times to attract the gators.  But that idea is a little less drastic :thumb:

I'm kinda like Terry in the way I initially want to handle things like this (btw - that's seriously f'ed up if he hit you intentionally) , but I think your best course of action if you do in fact find the dude would be to turn him in . Bruises , cuts , and the like heal eventually , but that vehicular assault charge will stick with him a lot longer than anything (that won't get you prison time that is) you can do to him .
Not saying i've done it  (maybe I HAVE , but i'm not going into details and it was X-years ago) , but let the law handle it first , then get him later . I'd hate to have to see you do time for something that you SHOULD have every right to do , but legally can't - then you're getting screwed twice ... once when you got hit , and again when you get arrested .

Tracking him down and then assaulting him would probably negate your case against him (premeditated - MUCH bigger penalties) and end you up much worse off than he would be . If you can find him , you can also find his insurance money too , and if no insurance , at least you'll get monthly payments as he's paying restitution as one of the conditions of probation/parole

Find where he lives , then call the police bro ... I enjoy reading your posts , but I don't think the prison would let ya on GSTwins.com hehe - plus we may not want to hear your stories from prison lol  :kiss3:

I'm 34 now with 2 daughters , so maybe i've mellowed out too much .. the guy does cetainly need an a$$ whoopin'  :icon_twisted: Just THINK before you DO  :thumb:

Yea but wouldn't you want him to live to regret it?The gators will bleed him dry.

he'd suffer a lot though :icon_twisted:  Finding him I'd have to prove to the police that it was him, which would be hard given noone got a tag :icon_confused:   In the video you can clearly see him look right at me before he hit me........the detective said a similar vehicle hit another bike about a week after my incident, so they're on the lookout for him :thumb: I hope they tase him and let him sit in jail with piss and shaZam! all over himself while some 400 pound guy named billy bob rapes him all night
