Firstly, hi all, im sean and i have a 2003 GS500E, ive been looking through the topics for a fix so i didnt have to repeat another pointless (if its already posted then it is) thread but no success, now to the problem, i was putting away my GS when i noticed a slight disturbing rattle from the right side of the engine, it makes the engine sound like the ducati's with there dry clutch, but not as loud  :icon_lol:, any ideas, im worried that if i use my bike its going to sieze as im out for a ride and it'll be a costly job

if it is coming from the right case cover then it could be you generator going bad.  They tend to make a lot of noise.

The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

The generator/stator/alternator is on the left side. The pulse generator is on the right side with the clutch.
Common sense in not very common.
