What is the best best place to order jets?

I have a Ducati Ramus can and K&N lunch box. I have been given what I think is good advice on the size jets.

But the 2mm washers are they going to come from the jet supplier or are the just normal washers. Do I ask for this size jets for this bike?
I know these might be dumb Questions but have never worked carbs, only swicthed them for better.
This topic is very common I know but every time I looked, I found diferent awnsers and now it's time to actually do them.

I ordered from flatoutmotorcycles.com based on price alone.  They have the best prices I've found, but they're glacially slow.  My last 2 orders took 6 weeks each.  They have no minimum quantity, so I was able to buy exactly 2 of each jet I needed.

6 weeks!!!!  :o Heck I would rather have extra jets (easy to sell) and pay a little more. A cheap price is not worth the wait. If I do not have it in less than 1 week, I will not deal with them.

They certainly aren't universal. You're looking for Mikuni Round jets. You're talking about an '89? I have no personal experience with those carbs, and I've seen listings that say they use Large Round jets, and others that say they use Small Round jets. I'd guess Small, that's what the later carbs use. You want non-bleeding pilots. Aperture is your best guess, of course.

On those carbs they use the slide spring to hold the needle down as well and you can almost certainly get by with a #4 washer, but the proper fit should be an M3, or 3 mm. #4 is a little large but I understand they work, and M3 can be hard to find. Usually only an M3 will work properly on the later carbs, though there is variation in the OD of #4, so you can't say for certain.

If you don't mind my saying so, you really want to get to the point where you have a fair degree of confidence in your own research before tackling this.

The early 2-jet carbs use Large Round mains.
The later 3-jet carbs use Small Round mains.

but.....

You can use the Small Round in the 2-jet carbs
and
You can use the Large Round in the 3-jet carbs
Common sense in not very common.

OK, so I rejetted my carb and put a K&N lunch box on her  :icon_mrgreen:

BOY, is she loud!   :o


Anyway.. I did 145 main, and 40 pilot, and 3 turns out on the screws. 
I *think* she might be slightly rich.   

How can I tell if she's rich or lean or perfect, and is there a way to adjust the mixture screws without taking the bike all apart again?
