OEM front brake line off my 98: took it off and replaced it with a SS line



I might have a few other little parts layin around, I'll post them if I find them

I also have an airbox from a 2006 GSF.  I bought it for $10 to use the airfilter.  I put my old airfilter in it, which I recently cleaned with gasoline, but it should still be replaced in the near future.  AFAIK it will fit any year GS500 (89-07).  $5 + shipping?

I'm not sure... I've heard that the length of the brake lines changed for the F models.  My brake line is 29.5" from center of fitting to center of fitting.  Maybe someone could chime in with the length for an F

if that brake line will fit i will take it i will have to do some measurements and then i wll get back to you

I know 89-00 or 02 is 29.5.Not 100% on F models.

Hey Manofthefield,
If that airbox is really backward compatible with my 1991 GS500E, I'd take it off your hands for the cost of shipping, if you can check it out to Zip 17520 in PA.
You can throw that old air filter away, though, I use a cleanable K&N and don't need the stock filter.
Let me know.
If shipping is under $6 or so, I could use the airbox as a spare. I'm always thinking one of those air filter bolt holes will strip out one day.

Todd, I'll take a look at the airbox.  Like I mentioned above though, I'd like to get about 5 bucks out of it

Here's a pic of the new airbox.  I looked it over and looked at mine(just on the bike) and the one difference is that there are two nipples at the bottom of the new airbox vs. one on the old airbox.

After looking at shipping costs, my price w/ shipping for the airbox is $12

Airbox is ideally for an 04-07 (maybe 01-02 too?), but I don't see why it wouldn't work for any year, just plug one nipple

I would like to take the airbox off your hands. Whatever your price is shipped to 77073 just let me know. I have a 99' basket case I just got running and I dont have an airbox for it at all. So its either this or clampons and I would really like to keep it close to stock. Thanks man
