I don't know the ins. company is being ghey   I think it's salvageable...but only as a track bike.... it will be totalled by the ins. company.  My attorney is having them served for breach of contract because they haven't done shaZam! yet

it slid on the left side so the exhaust is ok but it punctured the engine case and kept running so the engine is probably f%&ked   The front end looked fine but I was a little shaken up so I could be wrong

It would have had to run for like several minutes without oil to have really screwed anything up...I can't see a bike running on it's side long enough to cause serious damage.  lack of fuel would kill it.

no, at the very least it's gonna need a new side cover....past that I don't know I'll probably buy it back and part it out   Dunno I may keep her and try to turn her into a track slug

cover alone cost me 100 bucks....it is the shiniest part of the bike   the good news is when i had it off i took a look at the clutch and it looked brand new with no shavings or dirt at all.  sorry about the dork in the cage
