Ducati Monster Mirrors

I scratched my left mirror slightly on my GS500 and I've been looking for replacement mirrors ever since, now I've seen the bar-end mirros that some of the guys have been doing, and they look preety good, but I also have a chance to purchases ducati monster mirrors. My question is to anyone out there who might know and happen to cross this message, will the ducatio monster performance mirrors fit the GS500 screw in slot? I've asked the seller to measure the ends so that I can compare, this would give me a fair idea of what I was getting into, but I would really appreciate a little more definite of an answer. I'm also purchasing a buell blast windscreen, can wait to get everything on and working.

If its the same thread/pitch then yep it will fit I think its M10x1.25 cause I have been looking for a plug to fill the old hole.

I just went to Lowe's (home improvement warehouse) and bought a little plastic plug that fit in the hole. They have a section of odd little pieces like that near the screws. I found the one that was closest to 10mm and black, it looked good and only cost 50 cents or so.

Thanks, I think I'm gonna bid on the mirrors and see what happens, I guess if worst comes to worst, if they don't fit I'l just rebid them or something. Ok peace guys.
