if a motorcycle with 100 mi on its tank is kinky, imagine how straight up twisted the girl riding it must be  :o... so many tankfuls

I consistently go 204-206 miles before reserve.

Once, I went 221 miles and stoped for gas and never went to reserve. Yes I checked to make sure. That's why I stopped for gas.

I usually get 52 MPG on the interstate running 75-80 MPH indicated. Last tank was 53.44 MPG.

It's a stock 04 model.

my usual city mileage is 33-40. Thought I was jetted wrong, then after a 300 mi rippin' country ride yesterday, some at high altitude, I discovered I was getting 60+ mpg. Whoa!

I cosistently get 200 miles per tank on my '05 When I first started riding it I was getting almost 250 before reserve; 65MPG. Now I get 62-58MPG depending on haow hard I flog it. But I'm mainly commuting. Morning traffic in Tulsa can be hairraising, 75-90 MpH in crowded traffic. But I'm happy with the mileage. If it'd just stop farkin' raining!!

Thats pretty much my mileage too, around town I hit reserve at 200 miles and on the hightway i can go much longer, best highway mileage was right at 75 MPG.

PS : Mine is an 05 as well

I have an 89' and get 150 and I'm slap out of gas on the side of the road. My stock air filter might possible the factory it's so dirty. I have a K&N on order with jetts and have a Ramus can to put on. I'll post milage afrter

blueskygal

on my 04, I fill up every 200 miles.  Only had to use reserve twice- both times were well over 220 miles.  that's why that teeny tiny screw that holds the trip odometer pin in is so important!!!

Loaded question.I have an 89GS with a 04 tank.I get about 300 miles to a tank when I commute.I have no reserve and that's running it till there's only a little gas in the bottom. If I go ride the twisties and just play, I can get as low as 180 miles to a tank.I am very conservative when I commute, cause I dun't wunt a ticket.
PICS are GONE never TO return.

I get about 215 miles before I have to switch to reserve.  Lately I've been beating on it like a red headed step child too  :)

i hate that little screw.  i lost my trip reset knob on the way to work a couple days ago. noticed it when i filled it up at lunch.  reset it when i got back to work with a pair of needle nose pliers.
