That makes me cringe... of all the ways the wreck a bike, getting hit from behind seems like the worst... i'm always nervious at the lights, checking the mirrors...

Nice size dent in the rear wheel too.

I am pretty sure it was a rear ending because of the damage to the wheel as well as the subframe.  Still sucks for the pilot.....

I can't for the life of me figure out how it would have an intact swingarm and only a small dent in the rear wheel, yet dislodge the subframe that far... A standard car would probably have the bumper hit the rear wheel, causing the dent, but the only way for another part to travel far enough to do that to the subframe would be if the hood cleared the rear wheel and stuck out a foot more than the bumper. Only possible guess I can come up with is that it got rear ended and slid up above the wheel pushing on the subframe. But if it was going fast enough to do that I would expect to see more damage to the bike.

So I have absolutely no idea how that could happen...

Well I can't see the pic's at work. Firewall doesn't like your image host. Aside from the subframe any frame damage? Year? Model? How much? Looking for a good wrecked slavage 600RR for a track whore.
Why didn't you just go the whole way and buy me a f@#king Kawasaki you bastards.

Swingarm is prety tough.  If the rider was hit while rolling the car/truck could have pushed the ass up that high ejecting the rider and freeing the bike which would slide to a stop.  That is the only way I think it could have gotten that way with the damage.  I mean the end of the tail should be scraped/broken if it was a wheelie gone wrong.

its an f4i

Hmmmm F4i Makes a decent track bike as well. I have deliberately not asked the wife to let me use her bike at the track. Definately nice to ride something that's not tearing your shoulders out of their sockets when accelerating.

Well.. It runs and rides kinda  :icon_mrgreen: I rode it into the garage

I am not shure if we are going to part it or if its going to a salvage Co. We did the insurance estemate and it was $10,200.  and its an 02 I think

could of been lifted truck maybe :dunno_white:. bumper hits the tail, axle hits the rear wheel.

Looks like a German Streetfighter!

if ya part see if you can snag the front end for me...i gotta good song I can give for it.

Or at least the rotors.

Yeah definate pre 04. Unless some took the time to do a subframe swap. It has the stepped seat like the RR. In 04 honda went to the one piece bannana seat.

Nice German tail jack up kit there...  Fix the wrinkles in the seat and resell it as a "special" mod.
Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

imo= imfo in my fucknig opinion ;), the acr or whatnot hits it, the bumper goes into and ove mrim/tire causing damwage to rim/tire, whilst bumperhood combo goes above rim/tire combo and between it and swingarm causing damage

That could be. Here's what I really think though.

Picture Dukes of Hazard. The general lee launches over some tracks trying to escape boss hog, but doesn't see the motorcycle over the hill. The car, still in midair, comes down at the perfect angle right between the wheel and rear cowl, putting a nice dent in the wheel and dislodging the subframe.

Now that's a wreck.
