Gstwin was down for 24 hrs....Anyone else have the problem...

Yeah I'm pretty sure everyone had the problem. Pablo's site was down yesterday too. So I installed my progressive springs without the help of a "how to."

I thought my employer conspired with john and took out the site to get me to do actual work...

i think the real victim here is pablo. not only did he lose precious time in building up his post count, but he had to go 24 hours without seeing this site!

the humanity. i myself had my daily routine interupted though; i like to read this before and after work. glad it's up again though.

i dont know what happened.. but it was weird..

I might have been teh cause.. but I don tknow.. I notied it acting funny so I was trying to do a backup at that moment and it wouldnt let me.. and each time it started to go worse.. it wouldnt let me get user access and stuff.. finally it just got knocked out.

I am glad we didnt lose anything.. yay!

I need to ask john for root level access just in case something like this happens..

what happened?, it was weird i could get to the home page, but not to the message board. ever considered doin backups once in a while, there are these people out there i refer to as losers, who's sole purpose is to disrupt sites etc. viruses etc. i mean if it comes down to it, make a back-up once in a while, so if it happens again, you'll be rpetty close to where you were before. just a thought

well backup's are done every few days between myself and John. I do it every monday + a random day of the week and john i dont know when he does it.

If you see the other post by John he mentions that this site is taking too much processor usage time.. but i doubt its something that we surfing can cause it. So the site will be up and down for the next few days.
