I found out last night the the forks on my recently acquired '92 GS 500 are bent.

Does anyone have a set they would be willing to sell?  I might also be looking for the triple tree as well.

OK triples I destroyed ... may be able to weld it back though ... but beatings etc are shot.
Forks with brace yes I have and they are good. How about $50 and shipping.
Cool.

Hi all,

I have a set I can sell you.

Here's my description from a previous post:

I have a set of spare fork leg assemblies from my 1991 GS500E that are for sale. They will fit many other years.
I actually had sold them to a fellow here a few months ago but he eventually bailed on the deal.
Here is the deal with the forks:
I have a set of forks that are straight but they have a surface imperfection on one of the fork tubes that causes it to leak every year. (The tube was accidentally scratched by me years ago as I replaced the fork tubes. I was rushing and scratched it, then cleaned it up and deburred it as best I could with wet emery paper. It's usable but will leak annually -- I lived with it for years by simply draining and refilling the fork oil every year to keep up with it.)
They're not perfect, but they are certainly very usable (the second leg is perfect and undamaged) if you need straight, cheap and complete fork legs that need some periodic TLC. Hey, an annual fork oil change is good maintenance anyway.
They're for sale for $75 plus shipping. I had to pay over $150 for a replacement set on ebay.
Best wishes,
Todd
