I've really, really tried not to comment on people's apparent lack of literacy. I don't want to come across as a "Nazi", but I have to admit that I just skip over the incomprehensible posts... which are increasing.

On the other hand, there are days when I think I'm going to light into someone if I see "break" for "brake" JUST ONE MORE FREAKING TIME.

Basic literacy isn't perfection, but I rarely get the impression that folks who comment on (judge) others' literacy are expecting basic literacy; I get the impression they're expecting perfection. Why in the world would we waste our time flagging members because they say "your" instead of "you're" or "break"  instead of "brake?"

I can understand what the author is trying to convey. Sure, there are occasionally posts that are a little more difficult to read, but that's what the back button is for.

It looks as though I have no need to translate, because others have already (respectfully) asked for clarification, answered the question, and gone on to discuss various options:

I don't think 06 will work out of the box.I believe the stem is to big around and long to work in a GS.You could machine the gix stem or modify the GS stem.

If you mean what else do you need:
You will need to do custom fabrication to either make the gixxer stem fit the GS frame or to install the GS stem into the gixxer triples.  You will also need a wheel and tire with rotors.  Check ebay.....or you could get the wheel/rotors/tire from the dealer but be prepared to pay several hundred........  Unless you can machine parts yourself and have some fabrication background you will need to find a machine shop that will work on bikes.....expect to spend 100 there.......you 'might' be able to do everything for 200 if you bargain hunt

I have a buddy who would like those forks on his 02 gixxer   And everything appears to be the same as far as axle and rotor size.   I might see if he'll sell them, seeing as he's in way over his head
