Yeah I would make it myself, it isn't going to be that hard to take it off.  I just helped my friend take his off hih daytona 675 and it looks a lot better than with it.

Grats on the new bike An.  Hopefully this one won't get stolen.  You did get GAP insurance didn't you?

GAP is the company, right?

I live in Massachusetts, and because we're the only state (grumble) that has regulated insurance, we cannot just go to ANY insurance company and get insured.  So I pay about $600 for the R6 per year WITHOUT collision.

And my car (2000 Chrysler Cirrus) cost me $1900 full coverage.  :(

GAP insurance is something you get when you have a loan for the bike and is normally purchased from the financer of the bike.  It covers the negative equity should there be any in the event that the bike is totaled/stolen.

However in your case I think that you bought the bike right out, so you wouldn't have this option.

I see.

Yes, I did buy the bike 100%.  So I guess getting GAP insurance is NOT a good idea...

Cool man didn't know you bought it out right  :thumb:.  Do you have a window over looking where you park your bike?  If you do get an air soft gun and hook up a motion sensor to go off in your room if the bike is moved.  Then shoot whoever screwing with your bike  :icon_mrgreen:.
