Oh man, I'm excited - Saturday the 16th is the only day in August I have open.  

Absolutely, I would love to help plan out the ride.  I need to know how long (miles) we would want to go, and the time frame for the ride.

We can meet at the Starbucks at Ortega, or Cook's Corner (a hot bike spot just up El Toro Road a few miles, then the back way (nice twisty road 1/2 the way) over to Ortega. or I'll look around and think a little.  

Questions:
1. Miles, or ride time frame? (We could make a two part out of it). One leg out to Lake Elsinor (the Ortega Hwy leg), then who ever needs to bail can turn around and ride back, and if anyone wants to continue, we can head out to banning or Palomar Mountain.

2. What time to meet in the morning?  If everyone shows up with a little in his or her stomachs, we can grab some coffee, gas up and go.  Ortega Hwy is better the earlier you go.  But, since we will be doing this as a group ride and not race to the end, the traffic is not a big problem. We usually stop at "The Lookout" and regroup then go down into Lake Elsinor and have brunch at Hunny's Place (a diner - fair prices and good food).

Let me hear some input from everyone on these two questions.
