sorry I can't make it, I'm working some overtime time tomorrow morning 4am to noon.  We're really backed up in receiving and I have to sort through some things on hold in MRB because planning has started making noise :icon_rolleyes:

next time maybe... scratch, are there still weekly get-togethers that you go to in the south bay?  I need to try and make it down one of these days, it's been forever!

I also look a little different than before  :o

Ugh, I just got home.  I'll set an alarm, but someone call me at 10:30 or so, just in case.

Also, while procrastinating on getting an exhaust hangar bolt, last weekend after the BAGS ride I noticed some cracking where the muffler meets the pipe, so I'll bring my car instead.

Mmm...huh?  I just woke up from my after-church nap...  Glad you guys had a good ride!  :thumb:

Carb synchronization - it would only take me 15 minutes to do the actual job, one hour from seat off to seat-back-on (well, maybe only a half hour).  So, any afternoon, after work (5pm) this week would be great.

Andy - Awesome!  And, sadly the weekly meets kinda faded out, but we now have a monthly meet, Sportbike Nights put on B.A.R.F. by Santa Clara Cycle Accessories @ Kal Barbeque in Sunnyvale the last Wednesday of every month.

I am overwhelmed with the support of this group. For that matter it was reassuring to know that fuel starvation is common on freeways on GSs and that I should not worry everytime that happens and instead do prime.

Btw, How about this for the trip summary... this is actually skyline blvd.

Whoops, guess I missed this one.
Would've been neat to meet other GS riders. Maybe next time.

I did go on a ride today with some SBR members though.

Good people, good time.

Whoa, just noticed this.

I thought my bike was out of spec or something and needed maintenance, perhaps a valve adjustment or something... but a shop went over the bike already.
Now I'm glad I saw this... but it's a little disturbing. It's happened to me before, while I'm riding on the freeway, and one time on the city streets, where suddenly the engine chokes and dies before I can turn it onto reserve (if that helps). Then I'm stuck on the side for a few minutes before it will start back up and run fine again.  :icon_confused:

Good thing for the GS forums.

scratch

Do what Pandy used to do with her GS, and switch to Prime before riding off, and switch to On when you stop.  It becomes a second-nature habit.

Interesting.  My bike has never had fuel starvation problems.  I guess 2002 GS's are just the best.   :dunno_white: :icon_mrgreen:
