Girlfriend learning to dirtbike on her new XT225 pics!

BEHOLD! My girlfriend just bought her XT225. It's her first bike. These are my "dirtbike school" trails. They have some big boulders in them, and alot of mud, but nothing really technical. On the CR250 is her brother, who'se also relativly new to this, but a big mountain biker. He unfortunately wiped pretty hard, I shouldn't have let him on the CR250, but he enjoyed himself immensly and only came out with some scrapes.

XT225:


XT225 after very steep scrabbly hill complete with 3 foot ditch. You'll get more action videos of this later. This hill is a killer. My GF ate it pretty hard because she didn't get her front wheel over the ditch. The hill is about 65 degrees in angle from the horizontal, and about 300 yards long. It turns slightly to the left, then S's over to the right. The ditch is right in the middle. It goes down to the left of the pic.

Down a small hill! It's steeper than it looks (doesn't look like anything eh?). Again more helmet cam videos coming. I've got one on this of me getting 4-5 feet of air.



Brother:


This was all taken with a crappy 10 dollar precontained plastic waterproof pharmacy camera. I'll get a digital and combine it with my helmet cam for future pictures. I'm thinking of making a few instructional "how to navigate this particular obstacle" videos. When I get the videos compressed and share them maybe some dirt goons will discuss strategies for rough sections with me.

Ah the XT225! I used to have one.... my first bike with a plate on it actually. Great little bikes, damn near impossible to kill. (I know I sure as heck tried!)
