Picture showing the GPR steering damper and the Vortex clip-ons. A damper is a must for the 929 and 954. The Vortex put me about 3/4" further forward and 1" lower than stock clipons.

Dampens harmonic input from the front end that can lead to a tank slapper. Under hard acceleration there is little to no weight on the front end. It's very easy to have the front wheel start to wobble violently from lock to lock trying to straighten itself out. Usual causes of this is a rider who jerks or bumps the handlebars out of the line of travel under acceleration or who puts the front end down crosssed up coming down from a wheelie, in a bump in the track/road surface can also cause this to happen. The 954 has a very short wheelbase a minimal amount of rake and very little trail these things combined with the amount of engine power lead to a lot of situations where under acceleration the front end gets light.

Dude I love the new Fords, the cab looks like it has a lot more room inside for some reason. It just feels super wide and roomy. My old silverado always left me feeling claustrophobic.

It took me 2 1/2 months of sniping on e-bay to get that deal. I wanted a clean good looking quality can for cheap so I spent a lot of time watching auctions. Eat sleep and breath e-bay and you can find one eventually. You'll have to lay off the sheep for a while.

Beautiful bike, BP!!  When I do make it up your way, you'll have to put up with my ratbike GS.  I have washed it once in two years!  All I do is ride it.

Maybe if I had a bike in that shape I'd be inspired to wash it.  It looks fabulous!

I'm not a snob TG, your bike'll be fine. I have always kept my bikes clean it's just easier to see a developing problom like oil seepage around a seal or gasket if everything is clean. That and you don't get nearly as dirty when you do your periodic maintenance.

As for truck's, my truck tow's everything I may need it to tow with no problem, and hauls everything I haul occasionally. I think I will stick with it
