...Italjet wrote me back and says, in a nutshell, that we will never, ever, see the Griffon in the US.  I figure it's not big deal since i just want the bike for it's looks...so what else looks like it?

Roadstergal had a Breva.  But that was Seattle.  Maybe you meant you can't get them in Tejas.

What about the Sport Classics?

I didn't know the Breva was available in the States.  Heard it from an unreliable source but all the cool bikes we don't get anyway so I assumed it was accurate.  i'll look into it.  To note, though, closest Guzzi dealer is 8 hours away.

Feared, Casi...I can put spokies on anything.  I was it to come with spokies.  The wheels on the Monster pictured are about $3000.

The SC 1000 is certainly on my list.

Mr. Mak-Fixit wants a bike that he doesn't want to Mod?

FearedGS500

make them your self you have a shop  :icon_lol:

don't think I haven't thought about it...with my CX, for example, I have a 17X3.5" rear spokie that has the same number of spokes as the matching 19" front wheel.  I can take all the spokes off that front wheel, throw the rim away, get another rear rim and find spokes to fit it, and run 17X3.5 on both ends...120 up front and a 140 in the back.

FearedGS500

well see .. now your sit .. why you still sitting there ?

makenzie71

can't find another 17" wheel or proper length spokes.
