I just passed through my motorcycle test friday and drove myt bike home over 50 miles just fine.

I switched the crappy stock bars for drag bars, being careful not to pull or loosen anything.  drove it around for about 5 min and it stalls out while im in 5th gear.

wouldnt start back up again and i killed the batt trying to start it.

Charge the batt, then bring it to a local shop where he make "carb adjustments" and it runs perfectly fine for a day.

Today i rode it to work 20 miles, but forgot to take out the key and it left the lights on...i know im stupid for that.

So I eventually jumped it by putting it in third gear and rolled down a hill, popped the clutch and ingnition at same time.

It starts up and i drive almost all the way home, but something doesnt felle right with the throttle reaction.

It stalls out in 4the gear or so about a mile from my house and the light wont even go on when its in neutral parked.

So anyone have an idea what this might be?  Alternator, bad battery, throttle cable, carb?

If i cant figure it out tomorow after charging the batt over night ill bring it back to the guy in town to take another look.

thanks guys
