I just bought a new 07 F model about 3 weeks ago, I use it mainly to commute to my 2 jobs (FT/PT). The grips are awfully skinny, even with my Coretech aggressor gloves they seem small. After about 5 minutes they seem to cause my hands to cramp, I have been riding for over 20 years so I know its not a tensing up thing.
What is everyone using for grips?

gell grips...low vibration  smooth feel.

I have some ProGrip 724s. They were cheap, and are so-so. They do absorb some vibration - a little more then the stock rubber ones - but they aren't perfect. I also think that the grips available are too skinny and they make my hands cramp after lots of riding.  This is my first bike, so I don't know if other models have thicker grips... I know Harleys and larger cruisers often have 1" bars and thicker grips...

A co worker who owns a Busa said he bought some foam grips that slide over the stock grips, Has anyone heard of these?

I've heard good things.   They are not expensive.   I have not yet tried them.
On those days when life is a little too much and nothing seems to be going right, I pause for a moment to ponder the wise last words of my grandfather:  "I wonder where the mother bear is?"

I have the grip puppies on mine.

I too had problems with my hands cramping on long rides.
Now my hands are fine.
They aren't exactly good looking but they do the job.

By the way, I don't do the death grip. If you have work abused hands like mine, these should do the trick.

That grip is the first thing I'd change ... and kat grips, Gel or the pro grip 719 are all good choices.
Cool.
