ehhhh.......pretty sure I already stripped a pilot jet   And the f%$king header bolt is still stuck............and the braces that hold the carbs inline....the screw that attach em wont budge

Chris24

wd-40 it to death, and give it TIME to work. i see people spray wd-40 and try right away like its magic.

if possible try a impact driver, there are manual handpowered ones. you hit the driver with a hammer, and on the end is your bit, the hit gets turned into a sudden twist, its good for ornery bolts.

Chris24

as for the stripped pilot. i dunno, but let me know how that works out. i stripped mine taking them out, but was somehow able to get them out and back in. getting it back out again next time i do the carb is gonna suck cause im gonna have to deal with that too.

If you stripped it you may not have gotten it back in tight........watch for funny idling.........don't ask how I know about that

...

party poopers.

lemme guess. yall are also disgusted by doing wheelies on the gs500, even in a private parking lot with gear on.

A helmet on its own doesn't count as 'gear'.

If you think you don't need a helmet, you probably don't

ill agree with that too. helmet, jacket, boots, and even riding pants are a good idea.

something alot of people overlook...a buddy! if your going to stunt dont do it alone, bring a friend even if they are justr watching. god forbid if something happens to you, you may not be able to call yourself an ambulance or get your self to the hospital.

even with something minor like a hairline fracture to the arm, you may not be able to get your bike up, or ride it.

Why don't do the same affect but with your shoes, just attatch a metal side plate on the area of your choice on the bottom of your boots then ta dah ! put foot down and you have sparks. I use to do the same thing with my bicycle, I would nail a couple nails to a wood piece and tie a string to it and drag it along behind me down hills and what not. same principal just with shoes or boots. I have some setup boots that have a fron piece i could remove and attach some metal grind plats to. One day il test it out.

Idea #2
buy some snap its and through behind you.

idea #3
maybe experiment with some of those cheap toy gun explosives that go off when u hit them hard enough. maybe somebody could have an idea with those somehow

I think i would try the first one out of them all though, easiest and couldn't be that expensive.

They could do  ive knocked 3 wingmirrors off , going thro the centre of traffic and i stop and just stare , they dont even look at me ,

and as for the socket wrench, i keep  i cant remember  the socket to loosen the rear wheel , so if im asked why i have it i can say my wheels been slipping , and im having to adjust it  and i cant take the risk of having a loose chain  :thumb:

I think we need to have a cold shower & calm down. It's been stated before what is the best action to take when being tailgated.

Last thing we need to do is encourage people to think that it is ok stir up car drivers and to carry weapons on them while riding, or to damage cars.  :o These things may happen out on the road, but we do not need to encourage these sort of actions. The sort of actions described in this thread could be conceived by some car drivers as aggresive and therefore see the bike rider injured by the car driver or even killed. You have to remember that there are a lot of crazies out there, and that doesn't matter what country you live in or how big you are, it's best not to give them a reason to flip their switch.

I know emotions can get heated while out on the road, but it's better to back down and make it home alive than end up in a hospital ward, police cell or even on a slab in a morgue.
The more I learn about women, the more I love my bike.
