How about another jetting question

Ok so tonight I started the jetting process on my bike....
I got 140 145 150 mains, and 40 pilots....
I started off with 150, 40 and two washers under the needles ..... with this combo it was really rich
I took out the washers and it still is not right but closer, however the left cylinder is rich (black plug) and the right was lean (white plug).  How can I lean out the rich side.. or vise versa.?  Or should I mess with the fuel air mixture srew?
