fork oil ?

rebuilding fork on a 1994 gs500. How muck oil does each fork use and what weight?

Just measure 99mm ~ 3.9in. down from the top of the inner tube to get the oil level.  This is with the spring out and the fork fully compressed.

As for weight...stock is 10W, most people here use 15W (me...it's great) or 20W in order to stiffen up the forks a bit.  That is really personal preference between these.
