the SHIPPING IS BRUTAL... TO ME  and the guestimate price is about $300-400 plus shipping from my house in NC

Heh, how about a tank similar to the 2001+ GS bikes that will fit the older ones? (can use old seat, plastics, etc) An extra gallon or so comes in handy at times! Just an idea

I would think it would cost a lot more than a few hunded dollars.  Well get one and either polish or paint and see how you like it.  Report back with your results.

Plus the 6 gallon tank idea isn't such a bad one.  a near 300 mile range would be awful nice.
