it does need new tires but everything else is great.  has 11k miles and is 100% stock (including tires 0_o)
i'm planning on getting a Kat 600 rear shock and some race tech front springs.

:( i don't have a camera.  It's black, year 2000.
I'm going to transfer title and pay fees + get insurance tomorrow.
all I've done so far is parked it.
I don't have any money until next monday so I'm going to keep it under 30 on these crappy tires.

Welcome!

Sounds like you need tires first!

good judgement trumps good skills every time.

and....I'm not insured until 7:19PM  :dunno_white:

also i can't ride after dark.  the DMV wouldn't give me my M1 with the certificate of completion from the MSF because i don't have a drivers license.  I have to do the skills test anyway.   :bs:

also...my driveway goes directly onto a busy street.  not very confidence inspiring.  I just want to ride on some god damn quiet roads.
I'm $%^#ing moving to montana.  I HATE PEOPLE.

When I started riding I found the best times to go out are early evening hours... 7PM or so during the weekdays. Seemed to be much less traffic then.  :thumb: Find the fastest route to some nice long back roads. I know I still have my favorite road to ride and have ridden it from day one  :icon_mrgreen: Its fun to ride the same road that you get familiar with  :thumb:

Congrats and welcome
