what do i say to the DA? haha, i dont wanna pay this ticket, can i just take the msf instead? i wonder if he would fall for that one.

and in MA the only restrictions on having a permit are no nights, highways or riding 2 up.

Talk to them and tell them how you were being dumb and such...  Basically, show them that you regret doing it, and tell them that you are taking the MSF course to become a better rider, etc...


I hope that helps.   But I'd recommend that you admit that you were acting dumb, and sometimes they will cut you some slack.  Helped me once...  My only time, and it helped.

Or just threaten to plead not guilty.  The DA's set to try small-time cases are generally lazy gits who would rather you plead to something than actually getting off their arses and trying a case.

Oh...  btw.

At the DMV, there's a head honcho that I had to meet in order to try and keep the punishment low...  I can't remember what his title is, but just call your local DMV and ask them who you need to talk to for an appointment to talk about the ticket.

just out of curiosity, how do i get the DA`s number? the only thing in the phone book is district courts and it gives me a big list of like juvenile courts n stuff, but nothing for just the DA

You've got to call the main number of the court, and ask them directly.  That's how I got our DA's number.
