seat replacement

Hi y'all. got a couple seat questions for anyone that might know...

Will the gsx750 katana seats fit the gs500? in all the pics on ebay it look like it should. also will '04+ F-model seats fit an '01?

01+ seats are all compatible.

I doubt that the Kat seat will fit. Plus the latch is at the back of the seat instead of near the middle.

thanks! guess I'll be keeping a look out for gs500 seats from '01+. unfortunately not too many of those bike are being parted out as far as I can tell.

I'm going to do a little research on replacing the covering myself but thats not something I'm too confident about. I'm pretty sure anything cosmetic that I do myself will look like crap...
