Most of us heard, and were told, absolutely nothing after what amounted to a riot of moderator abuse-of-power. Of course, any dissenting threads (and members) were disappearing so rapidly I suspect any "investigation" is doomed, even if it was intended to be an honest effort.

Is Alpha back yet? Is RVertigo? I doubt Pastrana is ever coming back. Does anyone even have a count of the losses?

As are a good many others, judging by recent traffic. Whether in sadness, anger, or disgust I can't guess. Personally, I feel all three.

Many, I think, felt an obligation to contribute as a result of all that they've learned here... but few will feel any obligation to be treated as serfs in a pocket dictatorship.

When dissent invokes censorship and open retaliation, there are few choices left.

For those who might wonder in the future, if my .sig is changed, or gone, the line referred to, at the time of this writing, is "Remember, no one HAS to contribute here".

You don't spend enough time on #gstwins.  Manjul came by and promised an investigation.  Nothing came of it.
