With only 3 more weeks till i get my bike ( GS500F ) What happens??? Suzuki release an new "better" model..... The GS650F Fuel injected :D .... I live in Aus and i think this bike comes out in November..... Does anyone know if it is LAMS ( Learner Approved Motorcycle ) Now i dont know what to do??? Should i just get the Gs or wait?? Anyone know anything about the 650???

I don't think it'd be lams approved, but you're best checking with the RTA.

GSX650F is the same Bandit 650 clad in plastic ,so if Bandit is approved as learners bike so is the GSX650F  :dunno_white:
They're both water cooled and injected with optional ABS, the Bandit puts out 84 bhp and weighs 215 kg dry
You could consider it , but it's a bit heavy to handle as a first bike IMO

We don't get the 650 Bandit down here.

Well, if you are considering the bandit 650 then have you considered the Ninja 650R? Much better bike in my opinion. 70-some horsepower. It would be a decent learning bike. It's lighter than the Bandit and has much newer tech.

It's endorced by Leno... it's gotta be good.

The 650F seems like a logical update to any 500F fan. I like the look, and look forward to seeing some user reviews in the future.

Re: GSX650F

This bike is almost certainly a Bandit 1250 with a full fairing and smaller bore and stroke.  Does that sound like a good idea?  :dunno_white:  Riding around on a 1250 sized motorcycle with 1/2 the cc's missing?  No thanks, Suzuki....don't try peddling that crap on informed motorcycle enthusiasts. :flipoff:

i cant stand the look of the blue and white front fairings, they should have made it like the blue gs500 k4. now that is a nice blue scheme not like the k5 k6 k7 blue/ white scheme.

The GSX650F is the USA version for the Bandit650 line-up, I for one am glad to see its return to the states no matter what Suzuki wants to call it, and happy to see the increased compression ratio to 11.5:1 from 10.5:1.  It should make for an awesome replacement for the Can-o-tunas for a rider friendly STREET/SPORT bike.
Being naked was great, but now that I'm older I thought I should cover up!!!!

Mods?  What mods, no really its stock!!
