I completed installing the 93 Kat 600 front end on my 2004 GS500F.  Thanks for all the help.  But when I test rode it I discovered the right cylinder is not firing.  It does have spark, the compression is ok, I yanked the fuel tank and air filter assy to look down the carb...looks like it has fuel...at least to the carb bowl (fuel came out of the drain).  I'm stumped...air, fuel and spark...cylinder should  be working.  Any suggestions?

I did a search and found out that this not an uncommon problem.  But in my case it seems the cylinder comes alive at higher RPM's.  I'm thinking maybe the spark isn't stong enough at idle.

You could have an intermitant spark. Check the connections at the coils and thru the wire harness for a bad connection or corrosion. Also, remove the round right side ignition cover to make sure the rotor and pick-ups are tight.

Common sense in not very common.

I swaped coils - coils ok; I sprayed "quick start" in the dead cylinder - started - cyl/spark ok; removed carbs and cleaned...found the idle mixture screw missing off the right carb.  I assurme it's the idle mixture screw (there's still a brass plug/cap on the carb that looks like the cap that covers the idle mixture screw).  Any way I removed the left carb's screw and will bring it as an example to the parts dept.

Installed a idle mixture screw.  Runs like it should, so far.  Done except for cosmetic work.
How do I add a picture to my message?

Hope this helps.

We messed with my rejetting last night for quite some time (added one washer the first time , ran ok but i thought it could do better , then we just kept making i worse until we went back to my first set-up lol) and i was having the same problem .
It seems you already figured it out hehe ... i was reading through the posts , thinking  "yay , i can actually offer some help on here finally" lol . After we re-assembled to the original washer setting/airscrew position , i had to crank the throttle (we had to leave for a while , so i had to ride it f'ed up for a few miles) and hit like 6k rpms and slip the clutch so it wouldn't stall . It turned out that one of my air screws was out only 2 turns , while the other was out 3 turns
