VERY nice pics, weaze!!!  My wife drives a 2004 Mazda3 5-door (2.3L).  We took a couple of road trips in it this summer and got over 30 mpg going as fast as we wanted to go.  Fun car and very capable.  I like it more every time I drive it.

The Mazdaspeed3 is new for 2007 or 2008 -- not sure which.  It's also $$$.

the mazdaspeed 3 came out in 07.  its very nice and NOT expensive (starts at 23 i think).  i didnt get it because it only comes in a hatch poo poo

wait.. are you sure it's 07? My buddy had one back in my senior year of highschool, so '03-'04... And it was definitely the mazdaspeed, cuz it was turboed...

There was a Mazdaspeed Protege in 03, but the Mazdaspeed3 is new for '07, and only available as a hatch.
