Was teaching my wife to ride, was doing very well until she dropped the bike; minimal damage,(bar weight, scraped bottom of crankcase, clutch lever). Any input on replacing the clutch lever and also the best source to find a lever would be appreciated would be appreciated. Also, the oil light came on after I picked up the bike, but went off after I rode it home 1/2 mile ; any precautions I need to take?   thanks in advance...

for replacement clutch lever

oil light was from the oil shifting up and not being able to be pump( thats my justification i could be wrong)

Replacement clutch lever can be had for about $20 at your local shop. It's a really easy fix to do yourself (5-10 mins TOPS)

Yep EZ, had to do with shift.
I would check the oil with the dipstick just in case you actually did spill oil, but odds are it just thought the level was low because all the oil shifted.

If there' a cycle gear near you that would be a good place for a lever.  Other wise almost any stand alone moto shop should be able to get you one if they don't have it in stock.

If your going the online route don't forget to add shipping charges to the price of the lever.
