eBay Brake Pads -- Any experiences?

In May, I purchased and installed front brake pads from the same guy with this listing:

The pads arrived very quickly (which was good, because I needed them before my trip the next week!).  However, I am a little suspicious that they are not fitting exactly right. 

When I first installed them (with a stainless line at the same time), I had GREAT difficulty bleeding the system and getting a firm lever.  At the time, I completely thought it was a brake bleeding issue.   I bought a Mity-Vac, which helped a good bit, but I never got the lever firmness that I expected with new pads and a stainless line.

A few days later I left on a 2,000 mile trip on the bike with brakes that were "OK," but not fantastic.  I have gotten used to the brakes and I can do a panic stop, but I'm still not happy with the lever feel.

NOW, I am hearing a fast clicking sound as I apply the front brake (almost a whirring sound at speed).  The pads are contacting the rotor bolts slightly, and now I'm wondering if that was the original issue with bleeding them.

Anyone have a similar experience?  I'm seriously thinking of junking these pads and buying Suzuki pads -- I know they'll fit right.

First question is are you sure the pads are hitting the rotor buttons, often that whirring noise is from the holes drilled in the rotor, either way visually check the brake system to make sure thats the issue.

Second, you may still have air trapped in the line or the caliper, you have to bleed the brakes like mad to get all the air out of the caliper, like so many pumps your hand will get tired. Also if you don't a firm lever it doesn't have to do with the brake pads, thats all hydraulics there, so if the bike is parked how squishy is the lever. You can also adjust the brake lever, there is a knob on the lever with the numbers 1-4 that will allow you to adjust the brake lever to a more firm or loose setting

If the lever is firm but you don't have any bite with the brakes then you may have shitty pads or something. I usually stick to the brand names when buying pads, like EBC or Frodo, or stock Suzuki Pads

That whirring noise sounds familiar. I have it since i installed a set of Vesrah brake pads. Never found the cause, though. And the frontbrake is just fine

Actually I bled for half a day, even WITH the Mity-Vac.  I just did some closer inspection and there is not any contact with the rotor spacers.  Maybe the noise is just the holes.  Hmmm...

I'm still not happy with the lever firmness.  I'll try another round of bleeding.

I put those pads on mine and get the same sound, they work just fine, but I do have another round of bleeding to do.  This'll be after I replace the leaking fuel line on the car that I discovered this morning, at least that'll explain the crap economy I've been getting.
