i am on route 35 here in southern Maine which is one of the nice twisty, well paved, back roads.   it has no curbs,  run offs but the trees come right to the roadside.  it was a 50 zone and there was an old guy doing 35 with another car between me and him.  after signaling to the guy ahead of me i went to pass.  out of the shade of a tree came a car without it lights on...that i noticed as i was passing.   yoink onto the brakes(ss of course) and back behind the car.  it was  a bit close but i have to share some of the blame.  i was wearing sunglasses' with a chromed out shield.

just thought i would pass this on as a lesson to all

Hmm, I'll remember that on my commute next week. There is an 'iffy' neighborhood I think I should reroute around. Seems only the very poor and very rich run stopsigns and think nothing of it.

Watch out man, glad to hear you pissed yourself enough to make us all aware (meaning you're still alive to do so)

Be careful :)
