Go the wet one.
Someone posted that it fits
Well yes it does but.....
Pissed at myself because I did not notice that the vent is on the wrong side.

That's why it is cheaper.

Next time, get a sealed one (12BS) and you won't care what side is where, because there is no vent.

Yes, that's the reason it's cheaper; or more to the point, most bikes using this size battery use a vent on the opposite side of the GS. It isn't too difficult to reroute the vent hose so you can use the cheaper battery. It's more convenient in the long run. The Autozone near me carries the one with the vent on the wrong side in stock; the "correct" one is a special order.

Sealed is the way to go.  I put mine in on its side and haven't have a problem yet.  I paid around $45 dollars.  I hear cyclegear has decent prices on our batts too.

Moving the vent hose was not a hassle, but I had to use the longer clear hose that came with the battery, because the GS one wouldn't reach.

It was around $32.  Can't remember the receipt is 300 miles away.
No problem to re-route.  The old one hose is too short.
Have to look at the new one.  Might have to splice.  No biggie.
I was just wondering if leaning to left on the side stand and the vent being on the left
will present a leakage problem if you get a radical lean.
