I thougth that was the whole point-total chaos. Unmoderated, uncensored members doing what they want, being crude, mean or whatever...I dont get it...was it toooo out of control? how is that even possible, if the intent was no control?

I think its a perfect example of the natural dynamics of a group. There are leaders (either natural born, or appointed) who interpret the mandate given them as best they can and there are those members who push as hard as they can just to be contrarians, against the grain of the main membership. Sounds like exactly what was going on here, but they didnt like it. Now they dont like it over there? Thats disingenuous.

The censoring, deleting, editing of OFFENSIVE posts was NOT the issue on GSTwins.

The issue was deleting of posts referring to the IRC Chat and the banning of members that re-posted links to the IRC Chat...  None of the IRC Chat posts should have been deleted.  None of the members should have been banned for posting the IRC Chat info.  This was entirely perpetrated by one moderator who found the IRC Chat to be offensive or attacking (which I never witnessed).

As far as the "other" board falling apart...  shaZam! in, shaZam! out.  If people only post bullshit and start stupid fights, then the board will die...

aj only has that ability IF all of us agree. if i f**k up someone will punish me, if terry f**ks up someone will punish him, if AJ f***s up someone will punish her, i appointed BOTH of them, i created the site as some here have posted to collect those who have left here, either voluntarily or not, as a place for all of us to bs and have fun. i put the fight pit into being so ppl there would have a place to tell someone to f**k off, or to playfully bs, BUT the site is in its founding stages, basically trying to see what works, and what does not. i still like this board, and will continue to be here, until 1 it dies ( which wont happen) or 2 im banned or refuse to return ( again it wont happen) most of yall here ive known for years, so i intend to stay. if it came to the point where either i couldnt stand the other board anymore, id either shut it down, or pass of controll of it to someone there. This site really started to slip after you, Carrie, John and Kerrie split.  Nobody cared anymore about the content of their posts because we didn't think that it mattered.  I used to never post crap, but after you guys left, I didn't see any reason to hold back.  I was as guilty as the next guy.  Used to be that when I posted crap, somebody would call me on it.

somethings just never change....    aj is still aj and has modified all my posts there, some people just shouldn't be allowed to own a computer.  and her forum does suck.  the most imformative post about motorcycles was the one that linked back to the wiki. which was the only imformative one, come to think of it.  the rest of the forum is just trash that needs to be thrown out.  as to the question of posting this here, well i whould start my own forum to tell everyone that that one sucks, but i'm just lazy and don't see the point.
