FRONT: Avon Road Rider
SIZE: 110/70/17

REAR: Avon Roadrider
SIZE: 130/70/17

WHY: Because GSJack recommended them

THOUGHTS: Seem ok, but I've only got 200 or so miles on em so far. Stickier than stock BT-45s. Hoping to get 9-10K miles out of them, as I got 13K out of stock BT-45s

NEXT TIME: Probably stick with these. Good feel, good response, good wet traction, decently cheap, and hopefully good longevity.

FAVOURITE ICE CREAM FLAVOUR: Chocolate/Vanilla swirl

same set up im running.

also because of gsjack's reccomendation.

only difference is cookies n' cream

Avon Roadriders front and rear. I previously tried an Avon on my GS750 and like how it handled, and liked the price. When I needed to put tires on this year, I went right for the Avons, good quality at a great price. I have 3000 miles on them so far, and no complaints about performance.

Don't really have a favorite ice cream flavor. I have found very few that I don't like. If I had to choose one though, chocolate.

Front: Michelin Pilot Activ
Size: 110/70/17

Rear: Michelin Pilot Activ
Size: 130/70/17

Why: because they came whet the bike.

THOUGHTS: vary expensive her in israel, but they last long ,abut 8000KM on them' ,and still left a lot of rubber.
The rear has a tendency to skid out of line, the front is good, they are nice in the wet.

NEXT TIME: Avon Road Rider

Favorite ice cream: chocolate fudge

I, too, am running this set up, only with the avon 51/50 tires, which I believe is the previous version of the roadriders  :dunno_white:

Why?  Because of user reviews and cost.

Thoughts:  I like the tires.  They were great at the gap, and the overall handling is much better than my previous set up (BT 45 rear and stock Dunlop in front  :icon_confused:)

Next time:  I'd like to try the Pirelli's next time just to see if there is a noticeable difference, plus the squid in me just likes the Pirelli tread pattern...how sad is that?

Favorite Ice Cream?  Definitely B&R's Cherries Jubilee!
Something is wrong with my twin...all of a sudden it's V shaped!  Wait, no, now it's a triple!  ...and I IZ NOT a postwhore!

OgGy

FRONT: Michelin Pilot Activ
SIZE: 110/70/17

REAR: BRIDGESTONE BT45
SIZE: 130/70/17

WHY: Rear came with the bike, front was the cheapest I could find at the time

THOUGHTS: BT is ok for touring, predictable, lasts long. I like Michelin better, more grip (especially in the wet), harder to lock the front with this tire. Also very durable
