Good Mechanic in the DC area?

Specifically, I want someone to work on my SV650, but I figure this could just as easily apply to the GS.

I am looking for someone to do some suspension work (DC surface streets are positively EVIL).  Specifically, I need fork springs changed and possibly cartridge emulators installed (haven't decided yet).  And before anyone chimes in with "do it yourself": I am an assistant professor with no tools working 14 hour days and living in the spare bedroom of a relative's urban condo, so that isn't going to happen.

Any suggestions?

DIY?

Sorry, I can't be of real help, as I don't live in the DC area, and none of my relatives do anymore either.

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.
