flat tire

So after I got home from work today I went to guitar center to pick up some things. once I got home I noticed the bike has been feeling a bit unstable and different. well what do yah know I have been riding on a semi flat tire . I have a new rim and tire comeing in the next few weeks, can I just plug the hole for the time being?

Find the cause. It could be just a leaky valve stem, or someone popped it's cherry.

I don't ride questionable tires myself. I just get a new one/two and save the worry for something that matters.

That just happened to me. Tried a couple plugs. The gummy worm kind held for a day. Felt like i was riding around with a Starburst on my tire. Then I tried the "stop and go" mushroom kind. Worked fine i guess. Had that for a day but i just wasn't comfortable. Bought a new tire the next day. Well worth the peace of mind.

I found the cause its in the tread but inside one of the grooves. I should be getting my new tire soon so I guess I can just deal with it.

a plug should be fine, just don't go out an run balls to the wall till u get the new rim
