sprocket substitution

does anyone know if the rear sprocket found on a ninja 500 will mount up on a gs500? the reason I ask is because I have 2 extras laying around. I might as well see if they'll work before I order a new one.
2000 GS frame 2006 EX motor
SV650 shock, 43 tooth rear + 15tooth front, fork spacers
clubman bars, custom paint, GSX-R 1000 Hotbodies exhaust
Pirelli Sport demons 140/120
Pod filters, stage three rejet
