fenderectomy and new turn signals

I installed new front and rear micro turn signals and did a fenderectomy this morning.  It looks so much better than it did before.  Here's some before and after pics.

I trimmed my rear fender some months ago, and I didn't remember it was THAT huge and THAT square!!!!!! holy cow...

I installed some LEDs in my gauge cluster and instrument panel this morning and everything looks awesome and is working well but one thing - the turn signal indicator light only works for one direction.  Anyone know why?

On another note, I wanted to thank everyone on the board for putting all this info together and helping me work on my bike.  I can't thank you guys enough.

For the turn signal u need a non polarized LED bulb wled-5 wled-6 work. On pre-02 they should fit in with no problem on Post-02 you need to trim the bulb down to make it fit.

I have flush mount rear turn signals that I think need the plastic to attach to. That is unless I put them directle through my rear fender. If I'm going to do the fenderectomy, I'm gonna do it right! Any ideas?

If you have the cash then go with the integrated tail light, otherwise, I think you should cut holes in your fender and mount your flushmounts.

I'm in Lakeland.  We have a 5 or 6 guys in Tampa or Orlando.  I'd love to have a group ride if we can swing it.
