I have these turn signals installed on the black plastic right now, making it hard to do a "full" fenderectomy. Any suggestions or experiences?

They're mounted onto the bracket. Should I mount them through my fender?

look at my bike in the gallery, you can cut that hole piece off and use integrated led lights.  they work great and are VERY bright day or night

I was trying to get away with spending as little $ as possible. Curious though, what does the install consist of considering my setup right now?

What about doing a "half" fenderectomy:

yours has already been cut off, the only other thing you could really do is put the flush mounts on the tail plastics.

ABSOLUTNATI

It's already been done? Sweeet. I took off my reflectors by the way. Much better. I think I'm gonna take off the brackets and adhere them to the rear fender with some sort of double sided 3m. Anyone do that yet?

pantablo

what about leaving the reflector brackets in place and mounting the flush mounts to them? Later you can swap them out for mini indicators like Antibody has that you can mount to the same reflector brackets.

Looks clean. Now that the reflectors are off, I'm satisfied now. Almost. I'm debating whether to adhere the old reflector to the fender, or giving it a strip of 3m red reflective decal. Or just doing nothing.

I was looking at my rear fender today and was thinking about what options I could take to remove my rearward reflector.

It looks crap but it does an important job.

Some reflective pin stripes above the number plate (just below the tail light) might be the way to go.  :icon_confused:

I placed my turn signals inside the top groove:

Hope that gives you some ideas  8)
