Ok i'm about to get my Jardine exhaust and K&N lunchbox. So i was wondering if anybody in California has done the same set up for the jetting that was listed in WIKI . With California's oxygenated fuel the A/F mixtures get leaned out by the extra oxygen in the fuel.

What percent of the fuel is ethanol? Thats all that matters, and yes it will make it slightly lean, but typically the rejet make the bike a bit rich so you should be just fine.

In CA. we use more than just ethanol , some stuff like MTBE ( it has been replaced by some other stuff ). So as to how much oxygen it adds beats me. I wanted to see if someone in SOCAL has ran a high jet number or just what has be posted on Wiki. Thanks for trying to help.

well I  got my exhaust it only took 3 months. So I put it on and rejetted the carbs. I went with 22.5 / 65 / 147.5 jet and the plugs are still white as hell. I really feel no problems with the jetting but I still wonder if more power is to be had by going up to a 150 main. I know the idle bleeds need to be opened more a tad to rich at idle (at most 1/4 turn). Also shes poping ( and just a little fire) alot 8000 and above when I close the throttle. The popping has gotten better since I jetter her ( I fired her up and rode her around the block real quick). I know it's close but as I thought before I did all this work that the oxygenated fuel could be a problem. As for the DAMM screws on the carbs they suck. I went out and bought a screw remover set by Irwin and it only took about a minute to get them all out . I got some allen heads to replace them ( 4mm for the bowls and 5mm for the vac diaphrams).

Tossed in the 150 main and wow and wow, perfect. I'm going to get a ticket.
