I was riding my bike yesterday and the right blinker will only stay on steadily without blinking.  The left blinker works fine.  What would make that happen?

do you have after market blinkers? could be a bad bulb.

ohgood

take out the relay and spray it with 4d-40. you may have some water in there, or corrosion, or bees.

the switch may need it too.

you can always swap L for R bulbs and see if it goes to the other side :)

It wont be the relay, if it works on one side it proves its ok. The relay works regardless of which side is illuminated. For the bulbs to light up but not flash means you have a bad (high-resistance) connection somewhere in  circuit between the switch and bulbs. Check all the connectors and grounds are clean and tight and that the bulbs are all tight in the holders and are free from corrosion. Swap the bulbs round and see what effect it has, one of them could have blown and shorted out and not gone open-circuit, rare but it happens. Final thing to check is the handlebar switch, the RH contacts could be dirty or worn.
